SF Burners: We need your help at City Hall this week!
We seek your neighborly support for the Panhandle Bandshell Project, an amazing temporary public art project designed to build community and support the environment.
The Panhandle Bandshell (www.panhandlebandshell.com) is a beautifully-crafted, full-scale, traditional bandshell constructed from reclaimed materials – including car hoods, circuit boards and plastic bottles. The Bandshell will provide a stage for acoustic (non-amplified) performances in the Panhandle Park (near the Clayton Street crossing) throughout this summer **IF** the project is approved this Thursday, April 19th, the the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Commission.
HOW CAN YOU HELP??
1) REPRESENT AT THE PUBLIC MEETING - Use your civic voice! Particulary if you live in Upper Haight, Lower Haight, Cole Valley, NOPA, USF, Hayes Valley, Masonic, or the Divisadero corridor, your active, in-person support speaks volumes:

The Panhandle Bandshell is a creative collaboration of the Finch Mob, Rebar Group, CMG Landscape Architecture and the North of the Panhandle Neighborhood Association (NOPNA). Peter previously brought Playa Swimmers, Sisyphish (swimmers) and Deeper (divers) to Black Rock City. Please join him for an evening of wine and cheese as he talks about his inspiration for "homouroboros," which premieres at Burning Man in August 2007. Peter Hudson's Big Spin will be held in an art-filled SOMA loft where you'll mingle with other art lovers and view slides and video of Peter's previous work. You'll also be treated to a private viewing of Sisyphish and limited edition Homouroboros swag.
